Over the past eight years Pistol
Pete's has restored many motorcycles. We have done this with the
idea that the GL1000 and others will hopefully be preserved, ridden
and shown with pride. To our knowledge all of our restorations are
still performing to the owners expectations and shown at events
or just proudly exposed to observation by others during long trips
across country or daily excursions to the store. We lovingly restored
these wonderful machines because they are worthy vintage motorcycles;
unique in character, with exceptional longevity and quite simply
a real pleasure to own and drive.

Our Multi-Step process assures that your set will
be returned to equal or better than OEM standards. Our reputation
on the Internet and the major forums has indicated that we have
always operated with integrity, honesty and with over 500 rebuilds
under our belt, you can be assured that your set will perform perfectly.
Pistol Pete's pricing is fair and
based on the length of time to expertly rebuild the set and the
cost of the Randakks' component parts. Others will most likely charge
more but will not perform the same tasks that we will. Tasks such
as disassembly to the individual carburetor body when cleaning,
replacing the throttle shaft seals, replacing all seals with Randakks'
parts along with five of the vacuum hoses, adding one new fuel hose,
expertly reassembling all parts, engine running to ensure proper
synchronizing and balancing of the set. All of this is provided
in the cost of the rebuild.
Should extra repairs, cleaning or replacement
components be required, Pistol Pete has a complete inventory of
replacement parts in stock at reasonable additional cost.
